Disputed United States-funded GHF Aid Organization Terminates Relief Activities
The disputed, US and Israel-backed Gaza relief foundation says it is winding down its aid operations in the Gaza region, following nearly half a year.
The group had already suspended its three food distribution sites in Gaza subsequent to the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel came into force six weeks ago.
The GHF aimed to avoid UN systems as the main supplier of relief to Palestinian residents.
UN and other aid agencies refused to co-operate with its system, stating it was unethical and unsafe.

International human rights monitoring body stated it documented the killing of at least 859 Palestinians trying to acquire sustenance in the proximity to foundation locations between late May through end of July.
