Chiefs Acknowledge Domestic Violence Claims Involving Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening stating they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations made public in online accounts by a ex-partner of player Rashee Rice and were in contact with the NFL.

The team omitted the name of the player specifically in their announcement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

Claims Shared on Social Media

The woman, who also did not mention Rice directly, posted a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. She did say the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has two children with Rice, whom the team drafted in the 2023 draft.
